Carnival Encounter 7 Night Queensland Cruise

WOW Dance and the Edrine Keegan School of Ballet are excited to partner with Global Dance Tours to provide dance students and their families with an unforgettable experience on a cruise from Brisbane to Cairns!

Our dance group will embark on an exciting trip, spending 7 nights on a return cruise from Brisbane to Cairns!

3 July 2027 - Depart Brisbane

4 July 2027 - Performance Day at Sea

5 July 2027 - Airlie Beach

6-7 July 2027 - Cairns

8 July 2027 - Sail by Willis Island

9 July 2027 - Workshop day at Sea

10 July 2027 - Arrival Brisbane

Dance students will have the incredible opportunity to showcase their talents by performing in the showroom while at sea! Additionally, they will participate in a workshop day with a member of the performance staff.

A group of 45 participants is required for the booking of our dance tour, which includes family members and friends and dance students from Edrine Keegan School of Ballet.

The cruise package cost per person is between $1,040 and $1,745, depending on cabin share arrangements, and includes accommodation, meals, on-board entertainment and student performance fees. There are additional costs for sightseeing tours and personal spending expenses.

A deposit of $400 per person is payable once the group booking is confirmed.

Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure - 4 March 2027.

Our fundraising goal is $3,000. The fundraising program will help cover the costs of dance costumes and uniform shirts for the students who will be participating in the cruise. This support ensures that all students have the necessary gear to engage in this amazing experience. Family members and supporters are encouraged to purchase group shirts.

The beneficiaries of the funds raised are the dance students participating in the upcoming dance cruise to Cairns. There will be approximately 20 students taking part in this exciting opportunity.

Funds raised will be allocated to student costumes and uniforms for the cruise. Any additional funds collected will support student participation in various events and tours hosted by WOW Dance. 

Only approved tour items will receive funding, and personal expenditures will not be covered. Support is limited to students enrolled in the Edrine Keegan School of Ballet, ages 6 and up. Accompanying adults and family members will need to cover their own costs. 

In the event that the cruise does not proceed for any reason, the funds raised will be used to cover any costs already incurred, and any surplus will be redirected to support future WOW Dance events and dance tours.
